THE SHIFT FORWARD - PARENT PROGRAM

The Shift Forward - Parent (formerly Respect in Sport - Parent) is a mandatory online training program developed to promote positive behavior in youth sports. Hockey Calgary requires every player registered for minor hockey to have a valid certificate linked to their Hockey Canada profile.

• One parent or guardian with a player or players under 18 must complete the course before Registration
• The course costs $11.50 to complete​​​ with duration to be determined
• Use the same email associated with your Hockey Canada Spordle account to ensure proper linkage
• ​​​​​​​Current Respect in Sport - Parent certificates will be a recognized equivalent through the duration of their expiry
