The Northwest Warriors Hockey Association operates under the direction of the following governing organizations: Hockey Calgary, Hockey Alberta and Hockey Canada.

NWW is a volunteer-led organization governed bya Board of Directors. Board members are elected annually and are responsible for:
- Strategic decision-making
- Oversight of association policies and programs
- Ensuring alignment with governing body requirements
game & conduct committee
The Game & Conduct Committee ensures that all participants—players, coaches, parents, and volunteers—adhere to the standards of behavior outlined by Hockey Calgary, Hockey Alberta, and the local association.
- Investigates complaints or behavioral incidents involving players, coaches, parents, or officials
- Applies appropriate disciplinary actions such as warnings or suspensions
- Promotes respectful conduct and ensure all members understand expected standards
- Communicates with Hockey Calgary on escalated matters to ensure alignment with broader policies
