Elite (AA/AAA) Tryouts – NWCAA, CNHA & GHC Fire
Players interested in trying out for Elite/Quadrant hockey and Calgary Fire — including U13 AAA, U15 AA/AAA, U16 AA/AAA, and U18 AA/AAA — must complete the following steps to ensure proper registration and secure a spot with the Northwest Warriors if they are released and return to Community Hockey.
step 1: register with your elite hockey association
Players must register directly with the appropriate elite-level association based on their home address and player pathway. Refer to the HOCKEY CALGARY ELITE BOUNDARY MAPS to confirm your quadrant or female elite affiliation.
- To register, your Hockey Canada profile must be shared with the appropriate association — contact their registrar to complete this step.

step 2: Register with northwest warriors (community backup)
All players trying out for quadrant hockey must also register with the Northwest Warriors to hold a spot in Community Hockey evaluations in the event they are released. Please choose 'Elite Tryout Fee - $0' when registering.
step 3: notify NWW of quadrant results
It is the player/parent's responsibility to inform NWW of their quadrant outcome. Please email registrar@nwwarriorshockey.com as soon as you are notified:
- If your child is released from quadrant, they will proceed with NWW evaluations.
