We hope this message finds you all healthy and happy. Summer is upon us and the 2021/2022 hockey season is not far away. We know how challenging this last year has been for our families and kids and we hope hockey can provide some measure of normalcy and a much-needed physical outlet for our kids this fall.

We are excited to announce some of our plans for the 2021/2022 season. At this stage, subject to direction provided by the provincial health authorities, we are planning for a return to regular play. In an effort to make up for some lost time, we are planning some great initiatives to ensure that our players get the most out of hockey and continue to enjoy the game that we all love.
Our plans include:
- Maximize the ice availability and target to give each team a 2:1 practice to game ratio
- Additional development sessions with skilled skating and skills coaches, which will be available to all teams
- Additional coach support through a training and mentorship program and access to a drills database
- Additional mentorship for team managers
We recognize that the last year has been hard on many families financially as well. We have made our best efforts to design a program that is full of fun and development, while holding registration costs as much as possible. There will be a payment plan option available, and the Flames Even Strength Program is also available for financial assistance.
Registration is open from July 1 – August 15. Please read the instructions carefully, and reach out if you have questions.
While health and safety remain our number one focus, we are thrilled to be planning a return to the rink and look forward to seeing you in the fall.
